How to access the invisible space: a Lecoq based workshop

Creating dynamic and provocative work for the stage is difficult if you don't know where to start. Join us in an exploration of Lecoq's work on the inner dynamics of space. Learn how to capture the essence of a colour to stimulate atmosphere and add charge to your devised pieces.

In this short workshop you will learn to:

  • Access colour as a “way in” to creating dynamic works for the stage.
  • Create atmosphere and tension through movement.
  • Embellish your existing work with abstract and exciting displays of theatricality.

This workshop is open to all professional and semi-professional theatre practitioners (actors, directors, performers) with an interest in creating their own work or just pushing their boundaries for a few hours.

Come ready to play.
